Here's just a few of my favorite antique pots and pans, still in semi-regular service in my kitchen. Made of heavy-gauge aluminum, West Bend introduced its line of "Flavo-Seal" waterless cookware in the late 1930's.

    http://www.fundinguniverse.com/company-histories/west-bend-co-history/

These pieces are a 10" skillet with high-dome (rare?) lid and 8" (3qt?) and 6" (1qt) saucepans, the latter two also with their matching lids. The 8" pan is likely the oldest (certainly the most 'previously used'?!) of these 3, its bottom is still encrusted with a thick layer of somebody else's black fired-on grease (whatever) drippings that I haven't yet scrubbed off, and it *might* have a different variation of logo on it than the one pictured (on the 1qt pan) which matches the logo on the skillet. The knob on the small pan lid is also different than those on the larger two pieces, but otherwise the lids (and the knob material itself, if not its shape) appear to be the same so I believe that lid is still correct/original.

An accidental fact that nobody at WestBend woulda ever been able to guess. (since it wasn't invented yet...) The skillet turns out to be the ABSOLUTELY PERFECT pan to use when cooking up a yummy 'bachelor's dinner' of Hamburger Helper. (trademark GeneralMills, yada yada) <LOL>

I was just going through my pans, and found the 10" skillet with the lid from when my grandmother passed in 2017. I'm glad I looked it up before getting rid of it.
