Interesting hand painted glass vase. Origin unknown, any help appreciated. 10 inches tall.

Amethyst glass is any of the many glasswares made in the dark purple color of the gemstone amethyst. Included in this category are many pieces made in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Very dark pieces are called black amethyst and are listed under that heading. The glass could be either molded or blown.

      The label says Moser.
      Early twentieth century, I think.

Thank you. Is the maker of significance?

      Moser is a great name.

Whether it is Moser or not is another matter.
I'd wait for some of the glass experts to comment.
      A nice piece of glass.
      I love the surface finish.

I agree with Kevin on what the label say, I seeing the same name "Moser"
And is quite significant as you ask.
Another interesting thing, is this label are use at the Queenville Antique Mail, this look to come from the seller "G55" and the label say "signed" did see any mark underneath.

      Regards
      Alan
