Musa was founded in Vietri sul Mare in 1937 by artist Renato Rossi where he managed to keep the business going until 1949. From the beginning, Musa was a decorating operation only, purchasing blanks from the near-by Ernestine Pottery. Musa is not the same company as the contemporary company La Musa.

This set has six 10" diameter divided plates and two platters, one is 7 1/2" by 11" and the other, a whopping 10" by 19".
