I recently acquired this beautiful desk lamp. The lady that gave it to me said it was purchased in Paris France by her sister who has passed away. That is all I really know. It is a heavy metal bronze possibly. On the bottom it says de Carrio Lady of Stone. Does anyone know info they can shar with me.
Very beautiful !
Wow, I just can repeat what Manikin said !!!
Is the base hollow or is it pretty much solid ??
The base is solid
just found again. This piece is more recent, somewhere in the 1990's and made of resin mainly with lamp parts in metal. They made a lot of these different statues from that period and I have one in my storage closet, much like this one. The pretty shades were used on a lot of these. Because they are solid a lot of people think they may be metal at first, because of weight, but yours is a resin example.
If one of the shades break, they're very replaceable.
I have a Tiffany lamp with very similar colors of shades. Gillian says they are replaceable. If anyone can point me in the direction of replacements I would be very grateful. I need 3 replacements. Thank you.
Hi, don't know where you live, but if you enter 'tulip lamp shades' in your search engine, you will find them.

A search for 'Lily Lamps' will find you more.
