We have inherited this beautiful vase from my grandmother. Is there anyone who can help us with knowledge of Ikaroy Pottery and whether the vase has an economic value? We dont know where else to ask - hope it is ok - Thanks.

Hello - I see you have already found the other entry here on CW so you know this is Ikaros Pottery. Antofili has provided more information than I can about this pottery but as a fan of this sort of Mediterranean "tourist" pottery I will tell you this is quite nice.
Value is subjective and depends on many variables. Not the least in these is location. This may be cherished in Greece and ignored in California.

Artfoot, thank you so much for your response.
If we, at some point, decide to sell it, do you where the best place is to try? (We are Living in Denmark)

There is always a market for nice things but not always big demand. Determining a value is a good first step. Researching similar items in your area should give an idea how much effort should go into the selling (I'm in California). There are several ways to sell items online that reach a wide audience.

Thank you again, artfoot, for taking your time answering me. I will try to find someone, who can determine a value. I don't think we want to sell, but just want to know what it is worth. We thought, it just was a non valuable (beautiful) tourist item.

Beautiful Greek vase from the island of Rhodes. If you were going to sell, I would suggest EBay. Don't think it would bring too much, you could search eBay on completed and see if there are similar.
