Complete IDEAL DOLL VP 17, VP 16 doll in good shape. Used to dress her up a lot. Her hair is as if she slept on it. All fingers and toes are fine. Details are fine and distinct. She was mine when I was a child and my daughter also played with her - even made her a duct tape dress! Boy, was that hard to get off!!

Does anyone know more about these Ideal Dolls?

Hi your doll is 1954-1956 Ideal Posie doll. The first version had a Hard plastic head ,yours came later with vinyl head and rooted hair .
Here is one like her , But taller , They came in different sizes 17 " and 23 " and were a bit of a take off from the Saucy Walker dolls . She had more joints than The Saucy Walker and was advertised as "Pretty Posie of a hundred life like poses" Very nice you still have her :-)
