We were in a small antique store in Burnet, Texas about 4yrs back and as I was paying for the glass items I wanted the lady at the counter told my wife she had something to show her. She went back over to one of the displays reached down behind some other items and pulled out this huge bowl. She brought it over and set on the counter and asked my wife if she'd give her $63.00 for it. My wife was by then out of breath from just looking at it and after she tapped it with a fingernail and heard it just ring and ring she had to have it. I figured for the price I couldn't go wrong. At the time we had no idea it was Waterford. When I got it home I started looking for any type of makers mark and ran across 'Waterford' with the and Seahorse acid etched into it. This is a 10" bowl and weighs at least 5lbs.
I stand corrected, this is a 9 3/4" bowl not 10"
