This 1911 Singer "Sphinx" treadle with a coffin top cover was another Craigslist find. The head unit is in pretty good condition. The top needs to be refinished, and the treadle has some minor nicks/dings, but nothing atypical for the age. This is another one that I'll probably move along long-term now that I've acquired a 2nd fiddle-base (a VS2). But in the meantime, I'll restore it, enjoy it, and see if I can't build a bigger Woman-Cave (or as I call it - my "Old Bat Cave") instead.
