This 1921 Singer Redeye electric in a maple cabinet was a rescue. It had been on local listings for a while, with the price dropping and dropping. Finally I saw it as a curb alert. It needed a full rewire, but I bought new vintage-looking cloth-wrapped cord to replace the dry, cracked one. It was dusty, had a lot of rust on the metal, and took a lot of polishing, but the machine portion is done; motor is rewired. Now to get to the cabinet. I love woodworking and that's how I got into sewing machines in the first place. This is a gorgeous little machine, and one I'll miss when I finally move it along. I love those light-wood cabinets! <3
