1924 Singer 31-20 Industrial Machine

This machine was another freebie - and does have a table/motor/pedals, etc., but I was refurbishing the head unit when I snapped shots. I included one shot of the "before cleaning" stage so you can see how dirty it was. This has obviously been repainted at some point - probably the 1960's or so - from the traditional black to this two-tone black and silver with gold foils to imitate the 60's style machines. However, 60's machines have nothing on beasts like this. I may repaint it because this had cellophane tape across the edges at one point to seal it to the table, but for now, I've just cleaned, oiled, and prepped it for readiness. I think it'll be a good one to keep, but we'll see what the future holds. Right now I love looking at a spic-and-span machine that gleams inside and out.
