      ' Called a Springerle Mold
      Dutch wooden speculaas mold. A Type of biscuit cookie they were also used by Germans seen below on link
      I guess you could sure use it for butter too

      Oroy I agreed it could also be used for butter :-) But I think of butter molds as being carved out not a raised pattern like this one . But heck it's both I guess <smiling>
