Found at an estate sale, this item stands 13" tall. The top horizontal piece slides up and down. The black discs rotate and are made of stiff foam. It appears to be made to clamp down on a cylindrical item like pipe. Since the discs are foam, the purpose may be to clamp down on glass or something easily damaged. There is a 1/4" hole in the wood base that may have had something mounted in it. Any ideas?
I was going to say a bottle cutter but you would need to change some details. LOL !
