These are navy suede with stitched leather trim and laces, marked 6 on the sole, Charles Jourdan Paris in gold on the inside. I'd literally only just read about Charles Jourdan in Shoes A- Z when I saw these in the shop! Got so excited now I want to know everything about them! I would like your help in dating them. I've not been able to find another picture or advertisement for this brogue close toe style CJ shoe- they seem to be mainly classy court or open toe heels. I have written to the current Charles Jourdan customer service to see if they kept any record of it. Any suggestions of date and reasons welcome.

The style says 40's but in the 70's this style became popular again. My guess is 40's. But who cares when they were made, They are FABULOUS! Congrats.
