This vase may not be Sommerso, but I love the color and that's why I picked it up. The glass at the top is thinner than I would think any Murano would be but it is heavy. And after I picked up the bowl, the match of color works very well together although it's hard to tell here in the photos. You have to see it in person I guess...Party at Share's!!! haha I actually thought it might be Scandinavian but again, the glass at the top is probably too thin.
About 10" tall and 3 1/2 lbs. Also about 1/8" thick at the top.
The numbers on the bottom are from the place I purchased it and not always easy to remove. I just love it when they put that mark in the middle of a brass item! NOT! I think to myself, You've got to be joking!!!
Anyway, I love it and it's a permanent one ;) for the moment! Permanent and moment??? haha That's me...

It's a beautiful vase, I've no idea what it is. Betcha it would look great with a nice flower in it.
Hmm. Cut and lightly ground rim heyyy. Not European then I wouldn't have thought.

Very nice shape and color Susie, but I agree with Karen -most likely Chinese. A couple things point away from Murano - the rough base and the unevenness of the sommerso.
I love the colour to and would look lovely with white flowers in it!...:-)
Oh my, I've been lagging here! Sorry about that. Thank you Rick for the comment. And I wasn't really thinking it was sommerso, just hoping but I think I knew because of the top, I didn't think to look at the unevenness! I will for now on tho. I had to get it because of the color and the shape is different.
