    VANNES-LE-CHATEL 14 inches long, 9 inches high, 7 inches deep. Has a one inch crack between the arms at the end. I'd never seen anything like it so I bought it at auction for $5 about a month ago. Been looking at these pieces ever since. Guess I'm hooked!

      It's beautiful stuff but I hope your shelves are reinforced....
      I think generally this glass is not appreciated as much as it should. All class I think and generally more beautiful in person when you can really see the optics at work.

      We had a collector of mid century French glass active here a while back but Gracay is very quiet these days (oooh William, where are you?) and I noticed he has deleted a lot of his posts. Have a look here anyway:

      Karen, I looked at the pieces in the link and they are all beautiful. What a great photographer too! Those pieces are difficult to photo! I think I'll go back and study those for a few! Thanks for that link.
