My wife found these in an antique area of a furniture store in Brenham, Tx. on our way back from our last antique shopping trip to Galveston. She noticed right away that these prints are by the same person as the one on the antique jewelry box I posted in another area. The frames on these are in great shape and are approximately 5" x 7". I've been able to find quite a few digital copies of the 'Godey's Lady's Book' on the internet and have started to search to see if I can find the colorized versions of these. I took the photos without flash and then tried to enhance the brightness/contrast so they were better able to be seen.

Godey's was eventually overtaken by Peterson's.
With Peterson's, there was usually one in every magazine. One could also order more prints. I'd assume the same with Godey's.

I'm hoping we can find more when we venture out next month to some other stores that we haven't been to in a few years. My wife loves old photographs some of which we have hanging in our living room. I'll post those when I get the chance in another area.
