    This knife was among my dad's army things when he passed. He was in India and Burma during WW2. The photo shows all of the tool and the insignia. It is a very hefty, well made knife. Was hoping to discover something of its history. Thanks all.

      The shield on the handle may, or may not, have something to do with the maker of the knife. What markings are stamped at the bottom of the largest blade?

      On the large blade's base, all I can read is a letter "K" and below it the word "GERMAN" or possibly "GERMANY".
