    My wife found this photo at an antique store in Burnet, Tx. It's 11" x 14". She bought the frame at Walmart. There were also some smaller 5" x 7" photos of the same woman that she picked up however she gave these to our granddaughter who at the time was interested in old photos. The first photo is without flash, the 2nd one with. She appears to be a very well off woman. I can't really mark it as unsolved since I doubt anyone would know who the woman is.

      The ruffle around the top of her collar could put it earlier than Victorian.

      No it would, Gillian. That style was around even in the early 1900s.
