I found the coin in a register, I work in a Front Desk and I thought that it was different, then what caught my attention was the fact that the coin doesn't have a year, is that strange or there is any particular reason?
Look on the edge.

Thomas, they employed edge lettering to free up the design area for the obverse and reverse. So the date, mint mark, and motto e pluribus unum are on the edge.
