I bought the ship a while back at the store not far from my house. I think the shopkeeper tell me that she had acquired it from an estate. This ship is made out of some kind of bone/horn and I'm not sure what type of animal it came from. Any ideas?

      It could be whale bone.

I love this Mrs. T! It kind of reminds me of trench art where the makers use their imagination in order to make something special.

Thanks so much, Rick! It is pretty cool-especially with the different color tones in the sail pieces.
