Retro 1950's or 70's wooden cocktail drinks tray

Fantastic retro drinks tray, I absolutely love this and I have finally been able to purchase it from a lady I know. I have no clue who made this, does anyone have any ideas? There's a mark to the handle which I can just about make out "made in England" with a diamond shaped mark to the centre. Would the wood be teak? Other than that I don't know much about it. Any help/information would be appreciated. Thanks
