A Davenport china plate that was owned and used by John Lennon while living at his "Kenwood" estate in Surrey England from 1964 to 1968.This was part of an 18 piece dinner set. He purchased the dinnerware at Harrod's in London in 1964. The mark dates this plate to January 3, 1850. Sold by Bonham's Auctions in 2012. Lot # 412 . Purchased from TRACKS.
But how old is the plate itself?
The plate is the "Floresque" pattern....the mark says January 3, 1850
