A page of handwritten poetry from Beatles bass player Stu Sutcliffe.
The poem was taken from one of his journals from 1960. Stuart joined The Beatles in January 1960...and left for good in July 1961 to resume his art studies in Hamburg Germany. Stu died in Hamburg on April 10, 1962 from a suspected brain hemorrhage. He was only 21 years old.

    Here's the poem:
"Light shining through this frigid sighing heart...
Warms the icing touch of love-
    The candle throbs...
Clears the dust that time did start....
Light - formless spark I feel
    against a gated fate
    that lifts no higher than
    this lowered sky.....

RARE is often over used but THIS is a RARE item indeed, I can't make out the writing but it's great to see something from a (about) unknown Beatle
