I do not know much about this machine. I just picked it up at a Flea Market.
The mechanism works as it eagerly took my nickle. However I didn't have it filled with gumballs.
I have a key for the gumball section but no key for the coin box.

Any information would be helpful.... value? year? model?

    Thank you

Thank you....since I posted the pics o researched and found it is a Victor SUPER V "Grandad" model..... about the early 50s...mine is a nickle machine... i believe it is all original but missing the round mirror in the top.... I will get it to a locksmith to make a key for it.....top and bottom locks don't match but I don't know if they should.....i have seen the prices range from 150 (without glass) to 600.....mine is about 1/2 way between i figure....looks like an original SUPER V 5cent decal on the glass which I really like
      Thanks again for your response.....

It's in great condition. I'm thinking the 2 locks were made different possibly so only the owner had access to the coins and the top piece could be opened to be refilled by a store employee, only a guess though. Good to see you found more info!! Glad the links were helpful.

I have this exact machine on its original floor stand. The glass on the front however was broken by an old roommate. I've been looking for that glass to replace it. Wondering what you found in your search.

I would think you could just go to a glass guy and have one cut to the right size.....That's what I would do...seems like ordinary glass... the round ones would be interesting to replace though
Does yours have the round mirror in the top? I just found a 1- 1/2 inch round mirror for mine and waiting for it to arrive..... silly that I had to order a 24 pack of craft mirrors to get 1 mirror I needed..but they were cheap enough.
I would love to know what an original stand looks like but I wouldn't know if you can post a pic here....
