Awesome portraite

Looks like an art work not a photo , the hair and ear look like an artist work and nothing like a photo to me. The dark areas on the left and right are charcoal or pencil in shading .Appears to be from around the civil war period and dress she has . Found this in an antique barn was in a beautiful old frame was Price at $110 with portrait and frame and $100 for frame only so I took that to mean the I could get the portrait for $10 with out the frame , so I go to the vender and say I will buy the portrait for $10 dollars he was not amused but I said that's how you have it priced after some conversation in the end let me have it for $10. and I love it !
