This pipe was just given to me and i was told it was my great grandfathers' father's pipe. Ive got family searching for his birthdate or some sort of date to help me put an accurate age to it but i do know he lived in Poland. Since im 35 i would assume it has to be at least 150yrs old. There is a "hallmark" on the ring of the stem that reads "Starling Silver" over a diamond shaped marking containing what i believe to be the letters "JBL". It looks to be hand carved but i have had no luck searching the markings myself. Any further knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Email me at chancecurry82@gmail.com
