Hi there! I was wondering if anyone might be able to give me any possible info on this. I picked it up for my mom on a recent trip to Germany (for quite cheap, actually). She appears to be an Armand Marseille doll and her model number is 2966. She also has a 3/6 on the back of her neck which I am guessing may be that is is number 3 out of only 6 made? I have found one picture online of one like her but no info available. She is 18 inches tall and has a bisque face. Hair appears to be Mohair. My mom and I are just trying to find out more about her. If there is any insight anyone might be able to give, I'd most appreciate it! Thanks!
Your doll is a Armand but she is made of composition not bisque , The numbers 3/6 refer to size and workers used those numbers to put right size head with right size bodies . She was a mass produced doll . He hair almost looks replaced to me not original to her but I can't tell without holding her . Dates later than Bisque dolls with same mold number . Are her teeth still in mouth ? I can't see them and she should have teeth. Dates around 1920's -30s. Nice find :-)

Does she have a box in her back for a crier ? Some of them did not all though .
