Does anyone out there know the artist of this painting or the age of it? I would love a translation. Also, why are there several signature stamps?

I can at least answer why there are several stamps. It's not just the artist who stamps a painting or calligraphic art, collectors who come to own a piece of art may also put their seal on it, and also, an artist/ collector may have more than one seal. Collectors may also add their own calligraphic inscription. (By the way, the seal of a renowned collector can add value to a piece.)

So artwork that has been treasured for centuries can bear many seals and sections of calligraphy. (And pieces that are not so old may also try for a similar look.)
