An understated vase from the Tsukiyono studio of Kurata Glass.
The mix of browns and bronze on the satin white ground is so earthy, and the simple shape with dimple does not intrude on the calmness.
Smallish at 20cm, and as it is quite thin walled, light in weight.
A very Japanese modern piece, one I think falls into the Shibui style.
Striking vase, Karen, almost crying out to be touched! The last picture is worthy of a frame......
lovely piccys & the autumn colours of vase smashing Karen !!!!
FABULOUS !!!!
It's very tactile, yes, thanks Peggy!
We finally have autumn now Malkey so I went outside and took a leaf (haha) out of your photography book. Thanks!
Thanks Ken. Outdoors seems to work so well for you too so I thought I would have a go. The nice glass helps a lot!
Thanks Vet. They do glass very well.
Last photo is visual poetry.
