      I think Japanese too for this one, based mainly on the dragon. Not really my specialty so I'm possibly wrong :)

      I agree Japanese, it's their version of the Chinese Foo Dog, they call it shishi, with a dense curly fur. Don't know how old it might be, it's porcelain, and the motif seems to be an application over the the glaze instead of under. Don't think an incense burner either with opening at both ends, maybe a holder for a desk top implement. Unusual find, thanks for posting it. Lisa
