I received this from my dad over 30 yrs ago. From a link I found on this site and plugging in the serial number it appears to be 1895 & 7 jewels. The case has numbers on it but not sure what they mean. It is probably gold plated as on the back the gold is rubbed off along the edges in a few places. It still works- I wind it often.
