After Mom passed in March of this year, I inherited all of hers and her Mother's jewelry. There is a bit of fine jewelry, but more fascinating is the large amount of costume jewelry. 90% of the costume jewelry belonged to my Grandmother.
She was born in early 1900's, so any amount of jewelry that would have likely been accumulated from 30's to 70's (late). She died in early 80's. She seemed to LOVE brooches, Canadian Maple leaves, etc.
This is a heart shaped pendant with matching clip on earrings. No marks found. I'm not sure how to refer to the 'type' of pendant and earrings (enclosed, etc.?). The pendant and earrings both have gold accents/faux nuggets along with a pick ax and shovel, but the Pendant also has a gold mining pan (not depicted on earrings).
I have a circular one in black with gold items depicted that I'll be posting next. I have only found the pendant thus far for the black one.
NOTE: Efesgirl...I tried to keep my finger out of the pic but it wasn't meant to be today...lol
hahaha! You're excused. :-))))))
Lucite and gold leaf souvenir jewelry, probably the same time period as your black and Lucite gold leaf pendant.
