I dug this up in downtown Tampa back in 1978 when they were building the crosstown expressway. Don't know the nature of its origin or value, so any help is appreciated. The bottom has a 35D mark on it as well as the bottom of the glass stopper. It still smells like the perfume that was in it. Any information offered will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jay Guio
Hi, beautiful bottle. I think that it's "Nuit de Noel" by Caron. Wow - you found that? What a find. Best wishes, miKKo
Hi, I have always loved this bottle and wanted one - with the old faux sharkskin green box and original perfume, which I've never experienced - and was so excited to see this that I forgot to mention that you can find a wealth of info on this at Cleopatra's Boudoir, including some info on numbers: http://www.cleopatrasboudoir.com/apps/blog/show/7135994
FYI, I can't read your '35D' in the photo provided, but it looks like it's been stamped into hot glass.
You can find a review of the fragrance itself here: http://boisdejasmin.typepad.com/_/2005/06/nuit_de_nol.html.
Your bottle looks like it has some scratches, which affects value. Currently, there are several of these for sale on ebay, including one auction of a recent production bottle. Just enter "Nuit de Noel" and "Caron" in eBay search engine. It is not a good time to be selling perfume bottles. But who would want to sell this? It's truly splendid. I'm so glad you found it. Kind regards, miKKo
