I finally got my dream car on February 12, 2016. It took quite a bit of work to get the inside refinished, new rims, etc on it. I drive it all the time and you would not believe the number of men who ask me if it is for sale and how much I want for it. I laugh and tell them it is not for sale. The car is a dream to drive with a great engine that sounds awesome, especially when you let up on the gas and it puts out this low guttural rumble as it slows down. I've had it in several shows and have so thoroughly enjoyed going to the shows, especially since I am able to view other classics up close and personal while there. This picture was taken at the Bonita High School Car Show earlier this year.
Is the paint on the car (and more specifically the 'firebird'/etc on its hood) original or repro? How about engine/drivetrain - original or rebuilt/replaced? (and how many miles are on its clock?)
Even though I've mostly always owned and driven Ford products myself, I've nonetheless had good relationships with a handful of old Pontiacs, from a sexy '65 Bonneville 2dr hardtop (next door neighbor lady's car when I was growing up, *should* have been my own 'first car' too, but sadly that didn't happen) to an early 70's LeMans (with the *big* V-8 in it, which my Grandma likely never took full advantage of, or did she?) to a (likewise kinda sexy) mid/late 70's GranPrix. (which was registered to my high school buddy's girlfriend...I put a LOT of miles on the odometer of *that* one myself, unlike the others...)
More pictures please, too?? :-) :-)
I have all ways loved trans am since I was a kid.amazing car
