All I know is this table came from my husbands grandfather and he doesn't know a thing about it. I've tried to find anything similar and can't find a thing. Please help solve the mistery of this beautiful table.
Looks to be a late 19th century high end table as the veneers are breath taking and the swan figuring gives it an eclectic look. It was probably used as a parlor table, but not as a dining table as the base would have been Obtrusive to chairs and the table does not open to accommodate leaves. Hold onto this piece, it's absolutely stunning!
