Normally I like to just pick up what I find at chance at various brick and mortar antique/collectible outlets. But when I need something very specific I go to eBay. I was looking for 1950s/1960s belt but this one from the 1930s was much nicer. The belt emblem has the "Be Prepared" motto on it unlike the newer ones and the steel buckle looks better than the brass finished ones. The gloss brass finish always seems to have ugly scratches on it.
Photo 3 shows the backside of the buckle with the patent date of 1931 on it.
In photo 4 it is on a pair of circa 1960 Boy Scout pants. I think they compliment each other well.
