Identification of doubled dies can be maddening! Flat, shelf-like, uniform spread and color is mechanical doubling... If they also look bloated and squishy, with tight radial lines, then it's due deterioration doubling.... And when it looks like nothing.... BAM! DDO/DDR... I get frustrated when a coin presents split serifs, notching, and lines of deliniation- and still the forums say DDD. Or PMD. Or it is a totally normal coin. Maybe it's peradolia and my brain just wants to see what isn't there.... Maybe I need a new hobby ????
      Keep searching!
