Daisuke Tashiro for Iwata Glass bowls

A set of three small bowls, 10cm diameter, made by Iwata Glass, and designed by Daisuke Tashiro.

I can't tell you much about the designer. The only other work I have seen by him was similar to these in that it was a very simple but effectively designed bowl.

These have been moulded in clear glass with a coloured layer on the back side around the bobbles. The blue glass is quite textured; the green and brown are smooth.

The other two photos are from my place. One is looking from the front yard through the trees to the creek. The other is down the side looking back into the bush reserve. I love a bit of bush, and as Sydney is built around sandstone creeks and gullies there are bushy areas that cannot be developed - in the 'burbs at least. I feel lucky.
