      Beautiful micromosaic!
      The symbols on it are related to "Arma Christi" aka instruments of the Passion.

      Hi Kyratango,

      That is very helpful. I now know what the Symbols are; from top to bottom I see a
      Lance, Hammer, Sponge, Pincers, Ladder, Nails, Piller and Flagellum.

      The flowers are still a mystery, I recall that at burial the Jews would place flowers on the body before the wrapping with the Shroud. Not sure if that is what is represented here.

      The Colosseum behind Christ's head. Above it St Peter's Basilica, ... the other two are more difficult .....
