I obtained this Heraldic Armorial Irish Fire Screen from an auction in Dublin by Sheppard's Irish Auction House. It had cost me a small fortune but it was wanted by several people with deep pockets. A lot of the pieces that they sell were previously in Castles or grand homes, especially the furniture !~

I keep this in my bedroom and it has surprised some that have seen it. Not a common piece.

I believe it was a Castle content sale, but I am poor at keeping precise records, will probably have to write them down when I inquire.

Wow, this is amazing! I would have never thought that center piece would have been able to handle the heat, but I guess it must.

Thank you shareurpassion, I did notice it. When they came out in the late 70's and early 80's I saw so many of them, I was trying to forget !
