Craig recently posted a fine enamel on a rare Welz décor. This is a more basic enamel on a commoner type. The "cut out" nature of the confetti or spatter is clear, and the brick red lining on this décor is typical.
Welz trophy forms are one of a few basic shapes which have allowed Craig to undertake his shape studies, which have informed us all.
It is just under 18cm high.
Welz shape studies are fun. What year was it made?
I don't think that that is a question to which I have the answer.
Can you add a link to any other vases in this shape?
You are in a positive feedback loop n=1 on this.
Now this one I would recognise. I have a pair in this exact same shape but in a more common Welz decor. I love the dark interior of this one.
Vintagefran, I couldn't find the pair of vases in your CW Postings. Can you please add a link?
BEAUTIFUL Welz!!
