Well OK, seems like 'martini pitchers' have inadvertently become my theme of the weekend...? :-) <lol>
This one has been on my shelves for probably 20yrs now, likely found at a thrift store. It is made of clear glass roughly 3-1/2" across and nearly 12" tall, and features a nifty "leatherette" (not real leather, anyway?) jacket around its midsection edged by two 'antique brass' bands, themselves each with a pattern divided into 3 horizontal strips which cross over themselves on the backside at the seam in the leatherette. There are no maker's marks on it.
I have to guess it is a product of the 1950's-60s, and probably not anything terribly "rare" or "valuable" in any way. (after all, it's in *my* collection isn't it?!) If anybody can tell me otherwise (or anything else about it?) PLEASE leave a comment!
Thanks much, fortapache! :-)
