This is a special order porcelain stein made by Schierholz for the League of American Wheelmen, a U.S. based cycling club. Most of the special order steins also have the standard lithophane depicting a man falling off a high-wheel bicycle into a female pedestrian. A smaller number of known examples depict a man and a woman riding together on more modern “safety” bicycles. Presumably, the original lithophane was replaced on steins in a later order from the cycling club. The later lithophane is not known to have been used on any of the “All heil” steins. Which lithophane do you have as that will determine the value. Visit http://www.steincollectors.org to learn more about antique German beer steins.
