    This was a real bargain find: It was black and a bit out of shape, but I got it for about $1. I took my chances, and after a good cleaning and some bending it looks great. I wish I could have captured the sparkle of the glass cabochon!

    The ring has partial marks for Mexico, sterling, and is possibly from Taxco. It looks really hand-crafted. I believe it is a few decades old.
