(436 items)
It's a good thing (I think) that my wife was there to control ( I'll call it advise) me this past weekend during an annual "Trash and Treasure" sale or I would have gone broke/crazy after buying everything I wanted to buy.
I (we) did purchase these exciting items that I proudly show here.
The two tall 10 1/2" satin mauve flower vases have thickly applied enamelled flowers (Lily of the valley and pink Roses) and are probably early 1900's Legras. There is a 6" orange, possibly Kralik vase with tight purple spatter running up from the base and with a tightly crimped rim. In the centre back is an 8 1/2" tall slender linear-type spatter candlestick, possibly by Welz in a Red/Orange colour. Beside it is a pink Art Deco decorated footed vase in multi-coloured, yellow, red and black geometric designs that measures 7" tall. In the front is a multi-hued 3 3/4" opal vase made by La Meduse in 1988. They are/were a Quebec based Artist Glass company operating near Quebec city. To the right is a purple , Art Deco satin covered dish made by possibly Moser circa 1920's. It measures almost 6"and is decorated with gold and ruby Deco designs and wreaths of tiny enamelled flowers. Finally on top is a clear, crimped-rim basket with an applied ribbed handle and yellow & red spatter all-over. The underbase has age wear with a deep polished central pontil. It measures 8" tall and 8" across. I can't say much about it and I hope someone can add some information. Thanks, everyone, RER

I would love more pictures of the Deco vase hiding behind the covered bowl! Looks great from the little on show, and possibly the best of the bunch for me.

What a great collection. Such a mix but it works. I love the two Legras at the back.
Thanks Fran! It wasn't the cost that restrained me but the space available at home. Of course, my wife did have a say in it...lol
