I don.t know anything about this , Its 10 7/8 inch long , cast iron. Made in England.Looks like it's made for hanging on wall. On the back bottom it says 7 R E G D DESIGN B E L MADE IN ENGLAND. I decided it looks best with a sword.
When I saw it I immediately thought GAUNTLET, as in "Throw Down The Gauntlet" ( challenge to a fight) as there is just one of them it seems likely..
That was a term used in England a few hundred or more years ago.
Apparently people like armoured gloves for display...

Thank you P.S.C. Gauntlet makes sense. Thank you noob, for those links. I think I'll keep it displayed as drawing the sword, as if the other glove was thrown for a challenge.
