Antique German lidded beer stein

This item was handed down to me in a will. It is a German lidded beer stein and I believe it's WW II vintage. I don't know much about these items and so I'm posting photos here. I'd really like to know if this is original(I'm almost positive it is) and if it's worth anything. It's in very good condition with no cracks, chips, etc. There is some minor staining on the inside of the stein. Not fluent in German so I'm not sure what any of the wording on it means but I've tried to include photos of all the writing I could find on it. It appears to be monogrammed or personalized from the name written on the top of the lid. Any info you have would be greatly appreciated!
