I've had this brass stamper for a long time. 3.5 inches high. On the front it is inscribed SO with a crown. The rubber stamp says "Intelligence Division Headquarters. CC for G. (BE)". The date letters are for the 1940's.
Can anyone throw any light on the meaning of this stamp.

Thanks Vetraio50, I must have this item well over 20 years and always thought it was very well made a part from the interesting subject of the stamp. Originally got it in a trade with a collector friend.
Interesting link Celiene, thank you. The crown on the front of this stamper wpuld suggest a British origin.
