So, I picked up this rooster knowing that I didn't know the maker and hoping someone here might know. He's bright and pretty cool and the price was right. I saw someone list somewhere one very similar calling it a Murano Millefori, isn't Millefori glass sticks that are fused together almost forming a flower as the glass blower cuts the pieces? And isn't this more of a spatter? The bottom is nicely polished and done well and I do like the way the colors look pulled thru the tail but it just doesn't scream Murano to me. If it is, great! If it's not, I just don't want to misrepresent myself. I just realized something here...If it's not and I don't know the maker, would it be safe to say that it is "Studio Art Glass"?
Thanks for your help. I always appreciate it.
Yep, yep, if you want to.
Nice rooster, love his head and tail!
Thanks Karen, I don't know why I didn't think of that before! Lightbulb moment ;)

Love love and the way they added all the parts in different colors of glass :-)
Good eye Ms Mani! They did. The body and the tail are encased...he's kind of ugly pretty or pretty ugly I'm not quite sure yet.
The bottom is not quite polished to a nice clear even sheen. I just looked at it again and you can't see it from the photo but I can see a slight waffle pattern on a slightly cloudy bottom.
vet, bb2, sean, val, Mike, bcv, Phil and vintagefran...thank you all for stopping in! I hope none of you mind that I shorten all the names but even that takes me a long time to do unless I copy and paste. xoxo to all!
