This one is my favorites, although my dad, a collector and glass engineer, preferred clear, he must have thought this is special. It is signed (on the top of the base) by C. Klein, definitely lead crystal, the measurements are H14" x w20" (at widest point). I have NO intention of selling it, yet I saw it on another site for a price I thought not befitting. I took it to a high end local glass blower here, and he said it is "exquisite" - it certainly is. Anybody know the artist or the company? I saw it on Pinterest, but there was a brief and uninformative description (note: i have been searching for 20 years to find info, I was disappointed to find another existed)... It seems to me upon research cobalt glass like this seems (generally) to not have a company attached to it - it's at least 50 years old...thanks for your assistance in any way.

I've seen it in emerald green as well but I can't keep the Pinterest pages open long enough to copy the links.

      It's really lovely!

Wow, you are amazing! I had no idea this was German, that's the last guess I would have made. Nonetheless, I thank you so very much, it is so very gratifying to solve the mystery after so many years (since 1984).

Thanks Wow22, that is informative and a great resource for other treasures. I'm new and already hooked, good or bad? I think the former, more to come for you experts...

      That's good info, Wow22.

Swedian: keep in mind that you should always try to verify any info that comes from the internet. It's usually a good idea to treat any glass attribution as an educated guess until you can confirm. I hope this is a helpful place to start!

If you're interested in exploring, there are also examples online with identical shapes but different designs. I'll post the links if I can find some that are still live.

Thanks for all the great advice, I have definitely identified two pieces after 30+ years of trying, the auction houses are usually spot on. The advice you give though, really leads me there. Thanks
